I need warmth in my makeup. I want some of that summer feeling to stay too. A glowy foundation, red blush and champagne highlighter are my focus. I'm loving my recent foundation find. The warm color is deeper then my other foundations. So it was a natural choice now. After applying concealer and stick foundation I dabbed red cream blush on my cheeks and added pink blush above and a bit over the blush. Then added champagne highlighter in a half cirle from the eyelids and a bit downwards on the cheeks. And used a similar eyeshadow with the highlighter on the eyelids. What is your makeup today? And what are your makeup favorites?

My reading mood is back. I've selected another classic fiction to read through the next weeks. An Agatha Christie book. This I was a bit more excited about then the previous ones.
The book is called "A Murder is Announced." This sentence people read about in the news paper. A long with where and when. Readers think it is a party game and curious they show up. Then something terrible happens. And an investigation begins. Miss Marple is there to help the local police.
On the inside of this book cover it says: "Such an invitation is difficult to resist for the neighbours, mysterious strangers and the killer." That does sound interesting right? :)
I'm in the second chapter now. At this time one person suspects there is evil behind the annoucement. And seems to convince a second person that there is. And were they right?
Today I began reading another Agatha Christie classic. This one is the "Evil Under the Sun". I read it ten years or so and it does feel quite like a new book to read. I remmeber it was good and reading half in one day I agree. A lot of it is actually conversations so far. I imagine the rest continues like that.
The detective Hercule Poirot has a holiday on a pretty island when one of the hotel guests is found killed on a beach. The victim was unpopular among hotel guests. Early in the story they talk about how unlikely it is that any murder would happen on such a pretty island. They excpected something bad would happen for anyone there who spent time with the unpopular guest though. Hercule Poirot senses death around the corner. Jealousy seems to be the motive. The body was found by one of the persons who could have done it. A man they all feared would have an affair with the woman and thereby destroy his own marriage. There is an interesting mix of personalities and a sort of friendly atmosphere thought tense among some. Overall I find it to be an interesting story. And easy reading. If you like the sound it go ahead and read!
Dreamy and cute lip balms. These are my favorites now.
My best beauty buys lately have been these Tony Moly lip balms. They are the prettiest and best scented lip balms I've tried. The red one has a shiny red color with a glossy texture that looks a bit like my lips but better. The other is transparent glossy. I found these at the airport outside Ålesund town.
The scent of these too are amazing. It's like the best summer scents I can think of. Of flowers and apples combined. With this cheerful design I think they'll be perfect gifts. The quality of these two lip balms seems equally good. The red on is called Mini Berry Lip Balm Cherry. The soft yellow and orange: Mini Peach Lip Balm. I would definitely buy them again.
