Holiday Makeup Bag

When packing for a holiday I like to begin with makeup and books. Always. In my makeup bag there are my old favorites and some newer makeup. Like this 90s eyeshadow palette that launched this autumn. It seems pretty cool and cute. Then I recently made my first Revlon haul. I've been curious about this brand for a long time. I selected something red and pink. That salient nail polish and the cute cream blush pretty for everyday use. All of these products + some more will come with me on my holiday. I'm looking forward to relax, read and blog this holiday!

Have you been shopping makeup lately? What did you buy?

December Read. Part 1

This month I'm reading "Elephants Can Remember". This is one of the books by Agatha Christie. I've enjoyed reading books by her for months. This one I liked because of the strangeness. It pretty much begins with a conversation crime author Ariadne Oliver has with a complete stranger. The stranger  asks of a special favour. She wants Ariadne to solv an unsolved case. An old girfriend of Ariadne was found shot together with her husband and these were the parents of a woman whom might marry this strangers son.

Puzzeled and upset Ariadne goes to detective and friend Hercule Poirot for advice. She visits person after person to see what they rememeber about the womans parents. Hercule has decided to help.

The story is so far told through Ariadne. Maybe all of it is. It is nice to see the situations through her eyes as author and friend of the detective.

And the book is a universe of its own. It's cool that one can create a book around a conversation. I've read half of the story and so far it is good! And that book cover is nice too!

3 Beauty Favorites from November

November favorites: Garnier Moisture + Nourish Daily Rich Moisturiser, Biotherm Bath Therapy Invigorating Cleansing Foam and Tony Moly Mini Peach Lip Balm.

It was skin care last month that really had my attention. I had many makeup free days and decided to keep focusing on skin care. I bougth some new products I've used a lot. Now that it can be even colder outside I needed a new face cream. I've been discovering some nice products from Garnier and found one cream for dry skin that delivers. It is so comfortable. And the only one I've been using for a while.

Something else I bought was this foamy body cleanser that has a bit of a forest smell. Which is nice. And the foam is comfortable.

This lip balm I picked up on my summer holiday and is a must have in my bag! Talking about scent this is lovely! And that shiny gloss is very nice. It looks like an elegant touch with your makeup. I'm hoping it will be just as good when it comes to moisture if it gets incredible cold this winter.

What are your beauty favorites from November?
