We had some rain on our trip. The area, walking path and temperature was quite good. I got some good photos. The daylight was a little tricky sometimes. I like walking in different weather. And especially photograph. I walked today to an area new to me. This forest is huge. And there are long waters to go down to from several places.

Makeup in Summertime

 During the warmer months I like to keep makeup a little simpler. Especially on sunny days when I plan to spend time outdoors. A lot of foundation is not so ideal in this weather. I have a lot of time to spend in the sun so I reach first of all for a good lip balm. Maybe some mascara and eyebrow color. On days when I don't stay out in the sun I switch between foundation colors and light colored blushes and maybe some subtle eyeshadow. I like bb creams in the spring and summer season.

Current Eyeshadow Favorite

One gemstone I came across in my makeup bag :) It is really a gorgeous product! The colors are very intense in the palette but comes off as more subtle when applied. The dark brown is the most pigmented one. I like the sparkle and subtle pigmentation. They are perfect for daily wear. And go with so many of my foundations. I love the design too! It's quite special.

Late Afternoon

Spring Photos

 Today the temperature has been more like spring. It was really nice weather and I didn't need to wear a jacket. We've had a couple snow days. I spent some time reading outside and brought my camera for a walk. The trees are still not green. I found a couple flowers. Now the sun has set and left a beautiful orange, yellow and pink scenery over the mountains.
