Reading Now

"The Child"(2017) by Fiona Barton

It was difficult to stop reading this book the day I bought it. I bought it because it reminded me of the book "In a dark, dark wood" by Ruth Ware. Which I absolutely loved!

The story is not similar but there was something about the atmosphere and characters beeing writers among other things that gave me the association.

I began reading this at a cafe but struggled to consentrate because of some loud people doing a quiz like it was a matter of life or death next to me. So I continued reading at home. Now I'm almost finished.

The story is about the discovery of a baby skeleton and three women interested in the case. One of them thinks it might be her  baby who dissapeared many years ago. Another is a journalist who writes about the discovery. When it comes to the third woman I'm not sure why she is interested. But the news about the baby skeleton makes her nervous and she can't relax. So far in the story she has contacted the journalist a couple times.

The book is well written and atmospheric. I think one of the main characters are especially interesting to read about and people she knows. The latter person, Emma.

I found it interesting that few other characters seem interested in the discovery.

Have you read the book?

Todays Makeup

This is the makeup I like best to wear now. It includes products that look natural and a salient, nude lipstick for a touch of color. It is quick to apply. And looks healthy.

When I get some tan I will add a bit of the dark solar powder color too. This solar powder is really nice. I always return to it. And the lipstick is nice. Especially when it is not heavily applied. Then it looks kinda neon.

What makeup do you like best now?

June Face Masks

I see a big selection face masks in many shops. I plan to try many and write about them here. I can't remember seeing so many before. So this should be fun for me.

My skin needs moisture and purifying ingredients. Also something to give it a glowy appearance now and then.

My face masks picks for this month are these two: All about MEE - Pomegranate Clay Mask and my skin Kitty face Facial sheet mask.

I like clay masks and sheet masks and hope I will like these two!

Next month I will pick one or more creamy face masks. Do you have any suggestions?
