 Old and New Movies

There is something magical about old movies. Not just the new ones. At first after seeing so many modern filled with impressions, an old looked odd. One of the nice things about these movies is the time they give you to fill in the story while watching. They have less of everything, and at the same time they can have more. Less music, less activity, less special effects. Yet they can be so enriching. Sometimes I really miss seeing more simplicity in modern films. I can easily be drawn into the universe and get inspired and interested. I love details and lot's of impressions, but I hate not being able to talk with my friends about what I've seen over long conversations. I like watching movies over and over again, but I find myself rather alone doing that.

What do you think? Should new movies embrace more from the old?

November Favourite Photo

I love this photo. Somehow the cold colours become warm and inviting. I like the small, messy looking contrast in the depth of focus. Everything looks a bit unclear except the horse and the fence in front.

My Favourite Lip Balm

Lypsyl Rosy Lips has a fragrance, colour and texture that is perfect all year round. It reminds me of the classic Smith's Rosebud.

Midday

It is getting dark early at this time of year. The light in this photo and the hint of branches makes it worth saving:) I took this photo at Østensjø Lake. Thirty minutes earlier and you would have seen the lake.

The area is wonderful for walking and running. I went for many walks here previous summer. When it has just gotten somewhat darker after clear daylight, like a drawing like blue and grey colour, it is a beautiful sight looking at the line of trees with the green grass in front and the sky behind.
