Feel - Good Haul

I did some shopping recently. A notebook, a sweather, an eyeashadow and a sunglasses case were the few things that came home with me. I've decided to wear more colors and the stores are full of them. Red, green and yellow are my favorite ones. I went to Weekday to find the perfect basic sweather in one of those colors. I choose this with its interesting shape, fresh color and comfortable fabric.  Now the days are a bit warmer so sweathers like these are a good option. 

My second best find was this notebook. I like how the pattern on the outside matches the pattern on the inside. Anyone who likes cartoons can make the notebook into that. I'll fill mine with quotes and blog post ideas. I can not remember seeing anything like this. It's so cool.

The third best find was a Mac eyeshadow. My first Mac eyeshadow actually. It's impossible not to notice this brand in beauty shops because of the big selection of fresh colors. This one is called Pink Venus and is a nice everyday color. 

The last thing I bought was a sunglasses case. I liked the design and color a lot. Simple and pretty. This I found at TGR. The same store I found the notebook in.

Reading Now. Min Mor Har En Saks I Ryggen

Perhaps you have read crime too this easter? What have you read?I'm enjoying this collection of crime short stories by Unni Lindell. It's called Min Mor Har En Saks I Ryggen. As the title the stories are a bit shocking. I find them entertaining and interesting. And easy to remember. My favorite so far is Batman er en farlig mann. Many of us know the Batman character. In this there is a guy dressed out in that outfit getting himself in trouble. An experienced reader might quickly guess how the story ends? :) 

I like the way the author 

writes. Everything seems so effortlessly done. I have many more stories in here to read after easter. Lucky me :)

Weekend Activity Tips

 

The first thing I feel like mentioning is this. Take the time to think about what is the best way you can begin every day with. I like ro read something uplifting.

My Favorite Skin Care Product This Winter

Is no doubt this facial spray. The Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist by Elizabeth Arden. I'd been 

longing to try this and got myself a bottle. I instantly liked it. The spray feels like a good quality product. The mist is very refreshing and moisturizing. The mild scent is comfortable. It reminds me of spring. The season we're in now. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Weekend Time

Finally. I need the weekends to relax properly now. I hope there will come some soon where I have more energy for art. I'm in the mood for reading and photographing a bit now and began to read in a new book. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. A piece of classical litterature that seems promising. I opened the book at a cafe with a cup of coffee and time flew. Before going there I looked for something pretty to photograph. Lately I've been noticing buildings reminding me of gingerbread houses. They are so cool to photograph.

January Favorite Movie. It

Lately and in January my preferred movie entertainment has been It. I don't mind putting this movie on day after day. It's that interesting. If you like scary movies this might be one for you so keep reading.

A non excisting clown terrorize kids in a town called Derry. It takes different shapes according to what seems scary to the kids. A group of kids share their scary episodes with each other and decide to destroy the clown. At the same time all in Derry share a fear for people dissapearing. One thing I find so interesting is that all the kids see the clown monster. I like the groups focus on supporting each other. And I like that there is a bit of humor in the movie.

This is the first part of the story based on Stephen King's book by the same name. There is also a mini television series from 1990 based on the book and it is pretty good too!

December Favorite Movie. The Terminator

Last month I loved an action movie from the 80s about machines rising against humans. A cyborg (half machine, half human)  and two humans desperatly trying to escape from it. I'm talking about The Terminator. The cyborg is programmed to kill a woman that in future will give birth to an important person the machines see as a threat.

The woman (Sara) lives a peaceful life when the terminator begins his hunt for her.
The man helping Sara is also from the future. He's sent back in time to protect her.

I think one of the most interesting scenes is in the beginning. When the man steals from a begger to get something he needs. And the terminator kills to get what he needs.

This is an intense action movie. There is never a boring moment here.
