January Shopping

  

 I love shopping this time a year. I'm perhaps most happy about this purse from Accessorize. I also enjoy eating out or go to a cafe and buy a cup of tea. I have a tea addiction and lately Chai Latte addiction <3 I've found some super good Chai Latte drinks at cafes around here. Now I'll head out for a glass of wine. And perhaps see if I come across some clothes on the sale. Usually I go for clothes on the sale.

Beauty Findings

Last year I came across some really good beauty products and discovered some new brands. There has been many products to choose from and I've sticked to high street brands. Maybelline, Soap & Glory and Gosh have been my favorites.

Some products and brands I would like to try this year is The Balm, Biotherm, Rimmel, Makeup Store and Mac. I've read so much about The Balm products and Mac lipsticks. Especially The Balm looks interesting. I own one product. An eyeshadow palette. I love the colors and packaging. Generally the packagings and color range looks very beautiful.

Things to Do in January

January is here. Lists, organizing, shopping. January always brings something new and expectations for the upcoming month and year. It is a good idea to sit down and think about how to organize and inspire your self in the best way possible. Once you've gotten a good start on the new year it is easier to keep things going in the right direction. One thing that's been important to me is inspiring my self to get more into blogging, organizing and planning. I've found that for instance keeping a journal is helpful in that way. I put so much into the journal of potential blog content that my mind does not forget about the other things I put down there. I think combining something inspirational with something practical is efficient to see your goals come true. Not delaying or putting the other on hold. We all do that from time to time. Thats one of the reasons why I've mentioned to read books you've put on hold :)

Forgotten Favorites

Some items are stored away before used. And some get boring stored away. These items will be brought back to use. The notepad was a gift from one of my pen-pals. And I found it to pretty to use. It will not end up in the drawer again. I use it sometimes and for now it will decorate my desk. As long as possible. Did you read this Olga? Now you know what I wish for my birthday :)

I bought this lipstick on my holiday in Wales. Looking for some new beauty products I came across one from Natural Collection. It is many year ago now, but I still have some left :) I used it quite a lot. It turns into a light, almost natural looking pink color. I've been looking for a pink lipstick so I'm glad I found this.

Over to another favorite. This bracelet was one of the few things I bought in Italy. For years it was my favorite bracelet. At some point it got away among other things and I haven't really been missing it. It comes across brown colored in this photo. It has a coral orange nuance. And it is one of my few orange colored accessories. It's pretty cool and elegant at the same time. So is the star necklace :) I can not understand how I could forget about that one. :)

Current Inspirations

I found this book in the back of the drawer. It is really a beautiful book with lots of images. It is very different from others of the same kind of book. This is a addition of The New Testament. I find it so much more inspirational reading, when I'm studying this one. I love photography, and pairing it together with text is nice :)
I hope I wouldn't need to brush the dust off it again.

Some less important stuff. I found this necklace in the jewelry box. It is one of the coolest I've got. The nail polish has a color I adore and is a color that often lifts my mood. I still have to try it, for now, it does a good job looking pretty on my desk.

Back to reading. Picking up classics have been really nice. Fantasy and crime are my current readings and it is so easy disappearing into the worlds of these books. Agatha Christie writes excellent and interesting. I love her description of different places and how people live their lives there. I'm definitely going back to reading more from her again. And then will see, If my joy for reading Harry Potter and The lord of the Rings will continue. In the latter some of my spark has gone as I'm getting closer to the end. But it definitely has a magical atmosphere that I love. So does the Harry Potter books :)

Favorites Now

I'm really glad I bought The Balm eyeshadows. They look so nice. Also I've been loving the Soap & Glory Solar Powder, the Maybelline lip pencil that I wrote about and two new products I mentioned in one post below. All of these brands have caught my attention more than ones and I look forward to try more of them. 

Lately

Books have been on my mind. I've been reading Agatha Christie and J. K. Rowling's first book in the Harry Potter collection. I'm about to finish the first book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Today I've been reading non-stop. It's really nice to disappear into a world. What are you reading at the moment?

About movies. I've found some Harry Potter movies that I've seen this Christmas. They are really nice. I've grown up seeing them at cinema every December. I've been enjoying going for walks and shopping. And blogging :) I've tried to make the blog look nicer and I've gotten more readers :)

Time ahead I'll be blogging, reading, going for walks and since it's January, look for some January bargains. It's the perfect time for searching bargains. Today I found a pair of black jeans and a wool knit wear.
