Some Shopping. Newest Beauty Buys

I've been eating out. Before all the crowds entered the restaurant. I wanted to have a quiet time out and are planning to relax the rest of the day, watching fire works later :) I did some shopping in between my restaurant visit and going home. I love watching stores on quiet days. And the atmosphere was really good wandering through the street. I was looking for this lip balm and a lip gloss and came across these products. I wasn't planning to buy a new rouge, this orange ended up in my hand bag :) Together with Comodynes T-zone Mask.

I love buying beauty products. Lipsticks are my favorite product to shop. I found one lip gloss. I'll put it in another photo, since forgetting today. Here are the other products I bought:

Looking Forward To

I've been loving blogging and reading. The next year I will do a lot  of it. And hopefully travel. It has been on my mind for a long time, and it's time to start saving. So. I wanna be in a movie. Become a movie star. That path might be at long distance, but I imagine it to be something for this year :) Books and blogs. I've had so much fun recently blogging daily. It's been very inspiring to do arts and my health condition is so much better :) Consistent good. 

I look forward to a lot of exercising. More of art hobbies and finding somewhere to travel. Start working. I look forward to see other peoples art, and more of Oslo. The place where I live. It's a big city and fun to explore. Also getting to know more people is something I'm really looking forward to.

• Update your living space and working area. Buy new/rotate your stationaries. Make sure you have some items that you absolutely love. Some that make you calm.

• Make sure you get enough exercising. Find a new training program or make some changes in one you already got. 

• Look through magazines,pictures,books, a shop and reload your impressions. Have a table book beside you with an interesting topic. 

• Have your meals regularly and with enough nutrition. Make a week plan/update.

•  Go for walks. Make benefit of daylight.

There is something about the white yellow color nuances that lifts my mood looking at this photo.
I also like how the grey up in the photo looks warm colored. This is also a favorite bowl of mine. One other reason is the composition that I'm quite happy about. Overall I think it's a cool photo.

Weekend Tips

Today a new weekend is here and to many that means free time.To others it's work that matters. If you don't know what to do this weekend I would suggest some of these activities. If you're working: write letters, read, listen to music or go for walks during breaks or when you're home. If you got time, go for movie night or some shopping. I usually fill my free time in Christmas with shopping, movies and reading. What I like about shopping these days are the quietness filling the shopping centers. It's the perfect time to go for those buys that you want, that will not be on the sale.

Christmas Accessories

I've become found of pearls and gold colored rings. It matches everything. Then I've added a black necklace with a black, small drop. I'm keeping it simple. I like the different nuances of white and gold. They make some change in my jewelry collection.

 Makeup Travel Kit

There are a couple things  I always have in my purse when I go out. First of all. A good hand cream and lip balm. Now I've selected some more favorites to bring with me. Makeup removal tissues, a face cream in travel size, a concealer, a perfume and a facial spray. Then I pick my lipsticks that will fit my makeup that day.

Christmas Reading

I love reading and Christmas time is no exception. This year I've found some old classics from my favourite author, Agatha Christie. And then I also picked up the first Harry Potter book. I've been reading for a while in the latter, and I think I may have found a new favourite author. Also I'm about to finish the first Lord of the Rings book and have borrowed number two. So there will be plenty to read :) Usually I read non stop during these days. And finish a couple books in the process. Agatha Christie books have been frequently read during holidays. I found four books. I'm reading all of them in Norwegian. It is especially important for me to do so in my choice of older books where the language tend to be more difficult. I also like to see the movies from these books. Usually every Christmas. Since I don't have access to television I've borrowed some of the movies, and will spend a bigger amount of time reading. I wonder what to start on after finishing. Perhaps another book from Agatha Christie :)

Christmas Makeup

Isadora Wake Up Make-up foundation is my favourite foundation. It has a wonderful glow and beautiful color nuance. I have two of them. The H & M blush is quite versatile and so are the other products.

Four Seasons. One Top

White. Stripes. Comfy. This is a top for all seasons. It will look good with many pieces.  A while back ago I was looking for something to wear this Christmas. I spotted this white top with silver stripes. The silver is typical Christmas. And stripes are timeless. It feels comfy and can be dressed up or down. I'll be pairing it with jeans wearing this during Christmas and time ahead.

A Matte and Glowy Lip Product

There is a combo I just absolutely love about beauty products and that is a matte and glow combination. It is so much easier to find fitting products to match. And you will likely drop the product soon if everything else works.

About this product. I picked up the Maybelline Drama Colour Lip Pencil in shade Minimalist. It has a lovely old pink colour with some sparkle. As a matte and glow look it works so well with my other products. Like foundations. There my favorite also has the same combo. The more lip products I can find like this, the better :)

Three Secondhand Treasures

I love going into a vintage and secondhand store. There are always so many things to see. I rarely find something I love, but then again, I don't go to these shops so often. When I see others wear something nice secondhand I get inspired to search for pieces too. Here are my favourites. The bracelet I picked up only yesterday. Secondhand shops always have pearls. These timeless pieces are gemstones. And less expensive when found in a secondhand/vintage store. Next I'll search for gold colored bracelets and rings, and perhaps something more with pearls too :)

Holiday Reading 

Holidays are the perfect time to read. So if you are into reading, you should not make an excuse for not picking up a book or two. Some though have to work and can't enjoy as much free time as the rest of us. To you guys I've thought about a couple tips that might convince you to pick up those books.

Find books that you already have some knowledge and curiosity about

Don't pick up the heaviest book if you have limited time for reading.

Borrow a collection of short stories or essays. In that way, you have time to read small pieces of text in a short time and pick out the ones seeming most interesting to you.

Read through christmas songs or poems. Those are also short texts that can tell a lot and inspire.

If you have the opportunity, read while traveling.

Enjoy Travel

When I'm on the metro I'm addicted to my notebooks and books. Instead of thinking about getting from one place to the other, I feel it's nice to spend time doing something. Personally, some of my best moments have been working with ideas or reading during travels.

 Here are my travel tips:

• Bring music
• Use a neck pillow for additional comfort
• Bring something warm to drink
• Keep a small storage with healthy snacks
• Bring an extra layer of wool 
• Make storage space close to your bags and satchels and fill up with things you need for travel
• Have something to read and note on     

 My desk drawer makes an excellent storage space

Currently Loving

Some of my favourites at the moment are The Body Shop Mango Body Mist, Korres Antiageing Foundation, Lypsyl Rosy Lips and The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream. I've been using the body mist and the foundation daily. I look forward to try the foundation with these lovely eyeshadows!

A Christmas Rouge

H & M Blusher

Bright orange and red in a matte, warm colour with dark pink and shimmery pink is a perfect rouge option. The brush that follows is really easy to work with, and in practical size with a mirror. I love the orange and red nuance. I like to use the pink highlighter on my eyes over concealer. The dark pink I still have not tested. I don't think I've come across a better orange/red rouge before. These colors are so fitting to any style. And that's what I love about it. And it's a perfect christmas rouge.

 Inspirational Cards

Who doesn't love to get a beautiful card :) Here I've found some of my top inspirational cards which I'll  share with you. Most of these I've picked up in different stores, and the one with the elephant is one I've received, and probably the cutest one of all. I was wondering about what todays post should be about when this card popped up in my eyes. 

Some reminds of birthday cards. I was thinking about Christmas when I got the card idea. Beautiful cards though fit any season and type of celebration ;) Here I'll write the labels on the different cards.

What would you like to do more of? 

I've been into blogging for a while, and really enjoy blog and reading other peoples content. Reading books has always been a favourite hobby of mine. These two are favourite activities of mine and I need to spend more time on them. I've found so many blogs that I like to read. It really gives me inspiration.

Every Christmas I look for books to read. Several. This time I think I will continue reading just as much throughout the year. It is so enriching. And I can not understand how I some months forget or read less. Blogging and reading are on my prioritize list :)  

A Calming Scent

I've never really been into The Body Shops perfumed sprays. I was initially looking for a lavender product when this spray drew my attention. Mainly because of the colour and design. The fragrance was lovely and comfortable. Not to heavily. I was looking for a calming scent and quickly decided to go with this one. I did not believe a fruit fragrance would seem calming, but apparently they can. The Mango Body Mist ended up being my choice. 

My Winter Movie List

Most of these I've seen before, and I will see them many times again. The Imitation Game will be at cinema during Christmas :) And I look forward to see it! Just a couple hours ago I started watching The Matrix again. And I still have some left before I go to bed. When Christmas is getting closer I will make a new list, watching Christmas movies =) A bunch of them.
